Position Overview:
Evans Builders is seeking a skilled Iron Worker to assist with structural steel erection and installation on commercial and industrial construction projects. This role requires attention to safety, accuracy in layout, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Erect and install structural steel components
Read and interpret structural and shop drawings
Bolt, align, and secure steel members
Perform field welding as required
Operate lifts and work at heights using proper fall protection
Maintain safe and organized job sites
Qualifications
2+ years of structural steel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Familiarity with rigging and steel installation practices
Comfortable working at heights
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and dependability
